See how many of Strachur chaps you can make out. The big fellow is easily seen. We are getting on splendid in camp. Weather very favourably. Had a big march through this afternoon, over 3000 in one line, it was a sight worth seeing. Lady Bredalbine sent in a lot of cheese, we had it for our tea, also a great big pig so we are to have it tomorrow. We go home on Friday. Had a post card from Jenny yesterday. Regards Johnny

Johnny’s brother Duncan is “The Big Fellow” right hand side with plaid attached at shoulder. Miss B. Campbell the recipient and Jenny mentioned are their sisters. Duncan was Sgt. TA and lived at Strachurbeg
