David Smiths Shop at Old Inn, later became Buchanan’s. The Shop was built by Archibald Fergusson (builders), brother of Mary and Jane Fergusson.
The Fergusson sisters were brought up by their grandparents at Ivy Cottage, Clachan, Strachur when their parents sadly died of cholera in 1866
